The Ocean Course at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort*

Anointed by Golf Digest as “America’s Toughest Resort Course”, The Ocean Course was named one of Pete Dye’s most superb designs, with 10 holes that play directly along the beach and cover more than 2 miles of oceanfront dunes. The Ocean Course hosted the Senior PGA Championship in 2007, and is slated to host the PGA Championship in 2012.

Osprey Point at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort*

Osprey Point is just down the road from the more famous Ocean Course, and this Fazio-designed course considered the much 'friendlier' of the two, despite the threat of water or out-of-bounds on every shot. Shielded from the fierce ocean winds, this course is situated amidst a scenic maritime forest filled with oaks and magnolias.

Turtle Point at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort*

Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Turtle Point plays through maritime forests, along lagoons, and towards the Atlantic Ocean. The narrow fairways and small greens require accuracy and planning, and the wind on the three fabulous Ocean holes has been known to presents an interesting challenge to players of all skill levels.

Cougar Point at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort*

The Cougar Point Golf course at Kiawah Island was completely update by Gary Player in 1996, a makeover of one of his early design classics which resulted in a 4 1/2 star ranking from Golf Digest. A portion of the front nine plays along the Kiawah River, and the course offers views over the scenic salt water marsh and it's abundant wildlife, including exotic birds and the occasional alligator.

Oak Point at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort*

Located on Johns' Island just outside the gates of Kiawah, Oak Point is set on the grounds of Hope Plantation, a former tomato and indigo plantation. Surrounded by maritime forest, and bordered by Haulover Creek, the course has picture-postcard scenery to go along with its undulating fairways and challenging greens.

Crooked Oaks at Seabrook Island Resort

This 6,780-yard, par 72 course on John's Island was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. in 1982. Full of southern charm, Crooked Oaks winds its way through marsh, maritime forests and moss-hung, century old live oaks.

Ocean Winds at Seabrook Island Resort

The Ocean Winds Golf Course plays along tidal marshes and natural sand dunes, reaching out to the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, with swirling maritime winds providing a unique challenge on each hole. With outstanding putting surfaces, this course has received a "four star" rating from Golf Digest.
